This recipe is for Rosh Hashanna (Jewish new year). It is the costom to eat sweet foods as well as round ones. such as this family favorit. This one is simple and the kids love it.

Meat stuffing.

1/2 kg minced meat (or soya sausages)
2        eggs
1/4  cup chopped parsley
1/4 maza meal/ or bread crumbs
salt, peper, cumin, safran to taste
Mix all the ingredients as for meat balls. Then fill the dried apricotes.(aproximately 30.)
 Lightly fry 2 large onions then add 2 cups water and a little salt, safran. Add the stuffed apricotsand cook on a low flame till the liquid is almost gone (30 minutes aprox). serve over rice.
