And so, we have entered into the month of Scorpio - the Death Sign, and at least here in Scandinavia, it is the most dark, gloomy and rainy time of the year, when the days are short and the nigths are long and dark. The last golden leafs has fallen, leaving the trees all dark and bare, but the first snow has not yet fallen to light the darkness up. Personally, I love this time of the year - the rain and the darkness, to ligth some candles cuddle up in the couch with a good book, listening to the raindrops beating softly against the window in the sizzling autumn wind. But I can understand why it for many people is quite the opposite - that  some feel that this is the most depressive time of the year - that allt he gloom can be hard to bear sometime.

These two following little chansons I have written as a little attempt to comfort you who perhaps feel lonely and hurt - you must know that you are never alone - somewhere there is always someone who feel just like you do. Who is sharing your pain and your sorrow.

Hurting

You
Who sit there in darkness
You
Who are hurting
You
Who are despairing
You
Who are lonely

For You I want to sing
This song about hurting
I guess it is quite real
‘Cause I wrote it about You

You

Who drown Your sorrows

In beer and tobacco

You

Who are dreaming You were just somewhere else

For You I want to sing

This song about hurting

I guess it is quite real

‘Cause I wrote it about You

You

Who were cheated

You

Who were beaten

You

Who took the whole blame

You

Who never found someone to love

For You I want to sing

This song about hurting

I guess it is quite real

‘Cause I wrote it about You

Because you know it better than anyone

That fortune is a precious thing

Because while all fortune one day fade away

There’s no end on hurting at all

Because while all fortune one day fade away

There’s no end on hurting at all

The Lonely Walker

I have seen you often

Walk on road full of stones that

You kick to the sides as

You’re dreaming about fortune

Passing barns, passing stables

The sparrows are fleeing

When they see you coming

Walking alone on

This ragged dirty road

Hey lonely walker

Hi lonely walker

Don’t cry lonely walker

Goodbye lonely walker

Lonely walker walks on by

By the side of the river

Passing fields, passing meadows

Twilight is falling

Darkness is rising

Hey lonely walker

Hi lonely walker

Don’t cry lonely walker

Goodbye lonely walker

Lonely walker walks on by

‘Cause all men seem stupid when nobody wants you

People seem cruel when you do know no one

The rain that keeps falling makes your body freezing

Roads feel uneven when you walk them alone

But hey lonely walker

Hi lonely walker

Don’t cry lonely walker

You’ll see lonely walker

In time lonely walker

Tears dry lonely walker

Walking lonely through a life
