Bottom line; Hatred is not the way... All that hatred does is destroy the person filled with it.

Real peace is hard to accomplish, because it means honest communications and providing for everyone according to their need. This means sacrifice and compromise.

A cease fire is not an opportunity to re-arm and plot the destruction of the enemy. We will see. It does not help that Israel went into Lebanon and killed some more people during the cease fire. Do they really think this will help? I think that they are shooting themselves in the foot, just like the US is, in Iraq. I hope they do not shoot themselves in the heart with all of this hatred.

I see the first steps towards peace with the cease fire, because the agreement is not totally one sided, but much more needs to be done. A cease fire does not erase hatred.

What we need is a  day of forgiveness and atonement for all of the crimes committed, with hopefully everyone participating. We need an end to the hatred and fear.

Cleansing the hearts and coming together as one people can and will lead to peace. Signing a worthless piece of paper with politicians or the UN forcing something on both sides will not work long term. The hatred and fear is still there. That will cause more death and eventually MAD; Mutually Assured Destruction.

The intensifying U.S.-backed Israeli assault on the Palestinian people in Gaza and the West Bank is aimed at dismantling the recently elected Palestinian National Authority (PNA) government and forcing the Palestinians to accept an Israeli-dictated "peace settlement." [more]

Destroyed Gaza bridgeUsing the capture of one of its soldiers as the pretext, the Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) launched a brutal assault on the entire population of Gaza in the early morning hours of June 28. U.S.-supplied F-16 fighter-bombers destroyed the main power station in Gaza and destroyed bridges on the only major roads linking the northern and southern sections of the region. The people of Gaza are now without water and electricity -- and many will die. The use of U.S. planes and other military goods against illegally occupied territories is a violation of both international and U.S. law

This movie explores and explains the truth about war, about US involvement and causes as well as consequences; no holds barred. Here the unvarnished real deal.....

"Donald Rumsfeld said that his mission in the War Against Terror was to persuade the world that Americans must be allowed to continue their way of life. When the maddened king stamps his foot, slaves tremble in their quarters. So, standing here today, it's hard for me to say this, but "The American Way of Life" is simply not sustainable. Because it doesn't acknowledge that there is a world beyond America."
