May 26, 2007
storm without thunder, wind without rain 
 
tomorrow, tomorrow, tomorrow, and then
aspirin with morning coffee
preoccupation with regularity
frequent glances in the rear-view mirror
incessant eying of the calendar 

one begins where one begins,
then chooses this
direction, or that way until
it dawns there is no difference,
one from the other.
