Fierce fighting in the Congo's Virunga National Park has increased the concern for the safety of the rare mountain gorillas. As park rangers flee their posts due to the fighting the gorilla's, 9 of whom were killed so far this year, are left unprotected. People fleeing from the conflict have set up camp near the park. Wood is in demand and Virunga National Park is the only place to find it! The gorillas, and there are only 150 of the left, are now at greater risk than ever before as displaced people chop down the trees!
Donations to buy wood which will help protect and save the endangered Gorillas of Virunga National Park are needed now! If you are in a position to help PLEASE HELP! THANK YOU.
