To All,
I have just created a petition to help me and Brendan. It is to stop ACS from ILLEGALLY taking my son out of my house/care and place him with the state. No one will come knocking on your door. I promise. You cannot get in trouble for helping a single mom who has been harassed by The State, not to mention what it is doing to Brendan. I am so tired of fighting but I must if I want to keep my son. I also want this to be an example for other parents who might come under the scrutiny of ACS (Administration for Children's Services) but who do not have the resources or intellect to try and defend themselves and their children. It has been proven that ACS has used illegal means and scare tactics to strengthen their claim on Brendan. To date, I have been found guilty of none of the charges against me. I am innocent, Brendan is safe with me but still, ACS won't step out of our lives. I have been in contact with several Parent Advocacy Groups and a lawyer from the Bronx Legal Aid Division (Family Court) who has specialized in these cases for 20 years. I am not speaking from a paranoid/overprotective mother's mind. Brendan and I are being harassed and I want it to stop. Ms. Ketcher, the legal aid attorney, whole-heartedly approved of my petition. Now I just need signatures. Please look and sign. Or pass it on to anyone whom you might think will care. If you read the full petition you will know the facts. Please take a look at my petition:
Please help me not let the State take my son away. I have committed no crime. The State is using their power to take children away from their families with impunity or just cause.
Please take a moment to read about this important issue, and join me in signing the petition. It takes just 30 seconds, but can truly make a difference. Please sign here:

Hi everyone -

I hate to bug you guys, but there's a petition out there that needs more signatures. We hope to get 5,000 and we have close to 4300. This petition is for a 4-month old puppy named Mooie in Washington state that was burned with acid over 90% of her body and the authorities haven't done a very good job of trying to find the person that did this.

I know most of you have fur babies of your own. If you have signed - thank you. If not, will you PLEASE sign?? And PLEASE forward this to everyone you think will sign. It doesn't matter if you don't live in the US - people from all over are signing. China, Japan, Germany, England, etc., etc.

The petition:

If you want to read more about the story:

**WARNING: There are some graphic photos**

The last link is to Pasado's Safe Haven, which rescues animals from shelters, etc. The National Coordinator there would LOVE to see 5000 signatures - so for Mooie, please help!

Hi there,

You have received a message from Susan:

Original Message:

Started March 12th and as of March 14th 93 signatures. Excellent start to a new Petition
and gives us a chance to blow them away with a "HUGE" amount of signatures for a "cause" that is in desperate need of
help. From what I've been told and read about there is a lot of issues behind this story.
Do all you can to help. It's appreciated for the "cause".
Thanks guys for caring and Thank You to Tanya Wynne who Authored the petition,

Take a stand TODAY! Send President George Bush,
> House Speaker Dennis Hastert, House Majority Leader
> John Boehner and Senate Majority Leader Bill Frist
> an important message.
> Please join fellow Patriots and sign A Balanced
> Budget Amendment...and Tax Reform to Match (see text
> below). In order to encourage serious consideration
> of this issue by the Bush administration and
> Congress, we must collect over 100,000 signatures.
> Please forward this invitation to friends, family

> Petition Text:
> To President George Bush, House Speaker Dennis
> Hastert, House Majority Leader John Boehner and
> Senate Majority Leader Bill Frist:
> We, the people of these United States, rightfully
> petition our President, House of Representatives and
> Senate to proffer a Balanced Budged Amendment to the
> Constitution, coupled with the enactment of the tax
> system overhaul Republicans
> promised.
> The only real hope for preventing the weight of the
> central government from crushing the life from our
> Republic is to renew the bid for a constitutionally
> mandated balanced-budget amendment and to enact real
> tax reform as originally
> outlined by Ronald Reagan. That amendment and reform
> will force Congress to either make dramatic cuts in
> government spending or enact enormous tax increases
> to pay for the current distended and mostly
> unconstitutional government budget.
> A Balanced Budget Amendment, combined with real tax
> reform; namely, a flat or national sales tax with
> deductions and exclusions, will result in a
> reduction in government spending, as American
> taxpayers will not tolerate bearing the burden
> of the actual cost of government.
> We call on Republicans -- our President and Congress
> -- to make such legislation the new priority in
> Washington, ushering in a new era of restraint,
> responsibility and respect for the constitutional
> limitations of government. We expect President Bush
> to embrace Ronald Reagan's legacy, and make limited
> government and fair taxation his administration's
> principal objectives for the
> remainder of his second term.
> (Please forward this invitation to family members,
> friends and fellow American Patriots.  In order to
> encourage serious consideration of this critical
> issue, we must collect in excess of 100,000
