Where Heart Shift Happens. Teaching the Science of Sustainable Health. What works for 7 future generations? "Do not go where the freeway may lead - Go instead where there is no path and build - A Green Road"
"The rich are getting richerand the poor are getting poorer. Cliché, sure, but it's also more true than at any time since the Gilded Age.
The poor are getting poorer, wages are falling behind inflation, and social mobility is at an all-time low.
If you're in that top 1%, life is grand."
If you have felt that something is wrong financially in this country, here is the proof... The rich are socking it to you... including very large corporations, their CEO's, and top brass who are eating at the taxpayer funded corporate welfare trough. This is YOUR money, you should care...
Large corporations have taken over the halls of Congress. They pass laws, lobby, and elect who they want, for the most part. Once their patsies are in there, they do their bidding, instead of doing what the people want. They follow the bidding of corporations, and the profit motive. Guess who profits?
Because these large corporations also own most media outlets, they control what is aired, including their corporate views of how life should be; lower taxes on rich, no taxes on corporations, no cleanup costs for environment, no lawsuits against rich people or corporations, unlimited power for monopolies (oil, diamonds, sports, media, money, etc.) same rights as people and right to contribute cash and influence into elections in unlimited amounts..
As one example; Exxon earned 245 Billion in 2009, but paid 0 taxes. They claim on their friendly media outlets to be clean, green and for people.. just like coal, nuclear and military industrial complex, all high profit, monopolies, while at the same time, they are sucking up your tax dollars. There is no need to rob or steal, it is all done legally.
This is a recipe for disaster for democracy/republic, but it is great for corporate takeover of the whole world.
The International Monetary Fund (IMF) owns an incredible 3,217 metric tons of gold. At the recent G20 summit, world leaders committed to using funds from selling a small fraction of that gold to help developing countries that are struggling to prevent 53 million people from slipping into poverty by 2010.
Click the link below to sign our petition to the Managing Director of the IMF, Dominique Strauss-Khan asking him to use funds from the gold sales to help the world’s poorest countries in ways that won’t create debt or hurt their economies with harmful new conditions:
Please use the revenue from gold sales to create as much funding as possible for developing countries and ensure that this doesn’t create new debts or have harmful conditions attached.
The IMF may seem to be a distant international organization, but we know they are listening. In 2007, ONE members asked the IMF to forgive Liberia’s debt and give that war-torn country, now at peace and under democratic rule, the chance to rebuild. The IMF was overwhelmed by our emails, and even acknowledged the power of our voices when announcing the decision to forgive Liberia’s debt.
It’s time for us to call on the IMF to take action again. The value of much of the IMF’s gold reserves has gone up dramatically since it was first acquired decades ago. Selling a tiny fraction of the IMF’s gold at current market prices, to central reserve banks only – preventing the sales from impacting gold prices on the open market – would generate billions of dollars. That money could be deployed immediately to help the world’s poorest countries during these difficult times. But it is essential that these funds come without dangerous strings attached and don’t create any new debt obligations.
The IMF is meeting next weekend to come up with a plan. First, let’s make sure they hear from us that this sale is a golden opportunity to help the world’s poorest people without costing us anything at all.
Please add your name to our petition, and send a message that the world is watching and demanding the IMF take action now:
"Earlier this year, Deamonte Driver, a 12-year-old boy living in Maryland, died after he got a tooth infection that led to a brain infection".
How little we value our children. We let them walk around with rotten teeth. We would rather they die than have a universal health plan that covers fixing them.
We tell them to go to the emergency room for a $1,000 aspirin, which everyone pays for with the most expensive health insurance in the world. Our insurance covers the least amount, compared to all other civilized countries, at the most expensive rate globally.
We can prevent this kind of thing, but we have to fix the mania of corporate profits above all else. We need to do the right thing for all of our children.
Next, we need to discover what Dr. Weston Price has to say about dental health... or we risk disaster for future generations. Contact me for more information if interested.
