EXTREMELY URGENT!!!  Please help this friendly female hound/boxer mix find her forever home!
Gracie is in immediate danger of being euthanized -her time was up last week!   If you can't help, please cross post widely - time is of the essence!
This beautiful girl is just a baby at 8 months old, weighing in at about 35 lb.  She is at  Lewis-Upshur Animal Control in Buckhannon , WV .  She was very scared when taken out of her run for this picture.  Please look past her fear and see how beautiful she is!
 
Gracie is extremely friendly and craves attention.  She is great with other dogs.  Can't you find room in your heart for her???
Gracie's legal day of adoption was April 20 so she can be euthanized at any time!  Because she is so sweet, the shelter staff has held onto her past her legal hold time but with a shelter this full, she will be among the first to be euthanized.  We must secure a rescue by this weekend or Gracie's fate looks grim!
This facility is very rescue friendly, with routine transports available to the MD/VA/DC area.  Arrangements may also be possible to some areas in PA.   A transport is planned for this Saturday, May 5.  Can anyone make room for this super little girl?
This is a small rural animal control facility with very few runs.  Despite taking many animals safely to rescue in the last several weeks, all the runs are once again full.  Time is of the essence!  
All dogs are wormed and receive a DHPP shot. 
We have secured donations to cover her pull fee.
We also have a donation to cover her rabies shot!  Can't anyone make room for her?
Please contact the shelter directly using the information below if you have room for this beautiful girl! Please don't delay, the shelter is filling and her time is VERY LIMITED!
