I had a fight with the neighbour this afternoon. Apparently I'm not helping them enough.

They don't know, or don't care, that I haven't done anything for myself for years. I have trouble getting out of bed sometimes.

I had suicidal ideation for a while, then went to bed....

I went down to Reston to see Dana and Victoria. Dana and I took Echo for a walk on the Canupawakpa hiking trail.

After supper, I went back to Virden to play poker at the Legion.

It went better than I expected, and I came close to making the final table....

I went out to the farm to help Mom and Dad process the cattle. When I went out to bring them in, I got them first try. But Dad had left one of the gates open, so I had to get them again.

I'm glad that Dad got a quad, or I would have been running....

We got the cattle in the corrals, and separated the cows from the calves. While I was scrambling to keep a particularly speedy calf in, I slipped on a fresh pat of manure and fell hard. I'm sure that it would have looked comical, as I know my feet went right up in the air. It felt like someone had grabbed me by the ankles and slammed me on the ground.

The bulls got fighting and knocked down a bit of fence, but we were able to get around that.

Then Mom and Dad vaccinated the calves and gave them their eartags.

It seemed to take forever, and I was very tired and sore by the end of it. We had a quick lunch, then I went back to my house to walk Echo.

After supper I went to play poker at the Legion. I won one hand, and was out fairly quick....
