No one goes through life without experiencing both positive and negative issues. Acknowledge what is hurtful, get mad, get furious, till you are tired of it. OR- write it all down,
from your heart and soul, meditate, then burn it, watch it burn and bless the ashes , that it can emit positive energy. You might need to do this a few times.
There are all kinds of programs on you tube to get you through this. Learn to live from a place of understanding, respect, harmony, humility and no judgment. Whoever has hurt you, you can sever the cord that binds you to this negativity and send it back to them- consciously. They gave it to you, give it back to them.
Any disrespect, harsh judgement, or even a demand of forgiveness that is totally out of place, comes from a person who is judgmental, selfish and disrespectful of the feelings or rights of others. with no iota of humility. Send it back to them with love, not hate.
Prayers are helpful too, and can be very healing. You can get the issue talked out- but you don't want to bore others. Healing meditations are helpful. Try Quantum K healing, do tai chi or chi gong. There are ways to win this battle. It is your choice. A positive attitude should not border on the negative.

Interesting comments- busy and creative people do tend to have some clutter. I love the comment about boring people and their clutter-free homes.  I am trying to be a  writer, a gardener, play the piano, read and do a lot of research for my articles, maintain a website, I tend to be a collector of  sorts from books, piano music books, fine china and figurines, love to play my CD's which I tend not to put away,  not much on the radio to interest me, and etc....summer months, my place is buzzing with visitors. I do try to keep my clutter under control.

But what is one supposed to do when you do tend to have a busy schedule? I don't have the time to dust every item. I do have a cleaning lady, otherwise, dust will be overpowering. I do always keep my kitchen and the bathroom CLEAN. dining room reasonably presentable. Just don't go around my computer and my  hopeless  piles  of paper , my bedroom, altho guest areas are as tidy as I can make them, and the like. But, this does not make me feel less proud of my abode, my sanctuary. I do love my lazy time and just look at my clutter, that's me.

Sad trait of being human. It is mind-boggling how many people can't appreciate whatever good someone does. With the internet, recently, I notice a proliferation of articles on how kindness if misconstrued as weakness. Taking this to the written words, it is so easy for readers to criticize, thereby, fail to see the message. A writer deserves some respect- if you have nothing good to say about anything, please don't. Whether an article is well-written or not, if the words don't resonate with you, leave it alone. You are under no obligation to read, ergo, find another material to read. It is not a cruel world, there are people who can't tell reality from illusion. When wrapped up in their illusions of self-righteousness, they really walk a lonely path and don't even know it.

I am a cynic when it comes to this subject. I know parents who have shown kindness, and unselfishly share this attitude. Kindness and a good heart are blessings, but sometimes, within your own abode/ dwelling is a divisive force- pervasive ...and posionous tentacles of self-absorved attitude, that opens the portals for manipulation and total lack of consideration for the feelings of others.
Looking from the outside, one could wonder what went wrong- and can never find the answer. Being too good and too kind becomes a tool for others to take advantage of these traits with regretable and painful consequences.Sometimes, total strangers CAN appreciate this blessings.I suppose, one has to be cautious who you share kindness with- very self-defeating but almost necessary.

A difficult challenge, sometimes exacts a very high price on one's peace... but grant me the grace to keep on trying! There are good-hearted people in this world.

(Psalm 81:16). Fill me with gratitude for your blessings and give me a generous heart that I may freely share with others what you have given to me."

Remembrance  Day
Yes, we remember .The sacrifice, the high price these heroes had to pay in the name of freedom.
How can we forget?

Amazing how time flies. Would it not be great if issues that cause us pain can fly away with time as well?  Time is a concept of the third dimension- our human world. Can we transcend time while we are here on earth? Possibly- but you have to stop looking at the clock. Stop putting a time frame on everything you do. Living in the moment allows you to experience the present, not ever mindful of what has passed or what is to come.

Amid the clutter in our minds and demands on our time, it's important to find peace in our lives. It starts with an attitude of gratitude. There is always something in this life to be thankful for at the end of the day.

Thinking of the shortfalls of life clutters your mind. This is a negative energy that can get magnified and open you to its power. Don't  let it gain momentum. Troubled minds have a bad habit of  magnifying issues,  rehashing the unpleasant and dwelling on the negative.

Another busy day, more lists to add to undone list. How important are all these lists?

Each day can flow effortlessly, amid traffic, amid deadlines, amid clumsiness, there is a light, a simple light that says, take a deep beathe and think that the day is going well.  That light comes from a calm and loving heart.
This is just the beginning.

Spring is in the air. But Canada is known for bitter winters- about six months in twelve.

I've seen snow in mid-May,  is not surprising. However, eager to see spring flowers and Mother Nature come alive, with all its pollens and bugs and other creepy crawley creatures, snow in late April is disappointing.

There is always a bright side, I can sit and write, or read or take a walk. Yes, there is always a brigher side.

Here's to Spring and May flowers!!!!

Cinco de Mayo
Indeed, May flowers are starting to bloom.
What occupies your day? Setting aside technology, how goes your day? A bit chilly day but sunny. Working around the garden is always refreshing and envigorating. It is a good way to exercise- do stretching, bending, walking and take in lots and lots of fresh air.  I pace myself when I get at my gardening. Towards late afternoon, it was great to be able to sit outside and enjoy a cup of tea, watch the gentle ripples in the lake and see the squirrels scurrying around.

I sat down at the piano for almost an hour- it is good for the brain and I intend to keep my brain healthy. It was a productive and satisfying day.
Hope everyone had a good day- enjoy the full moon this weekend.

Time sure flies. We all have our share of pain and grief. When someone you care for is at the grip of Death- what can anyone say? Heartaches and disagreements are all set aside. Why do we wait till the end to make peace? This adds to the anxiety of the moment.

Grief is very personal. We are already grieving when we know it will just be a matter of time, days or weeks.  But, when the time comes, it is a totally different emotional roller coaster.
But, such is Life.

      April 29,2012

Almost the end of April. Interesting article on so- called and self -styled gurus.  Sometimes it is hard to believe what you read. Spirituality and awareness are the buzzwords of 2012. There is confusion as to what is religion and spirituality.  Does it follow that devoted , religious people are automatically spiritual? Not so. Spirituality does not define one's religious affiliations. There are different faces to spirituality- there is metro-spirituality, cafeteria Christianity, Eastern philosophy spirituality and more.

Being truly spiritual and comprehend what this means, like believing in a power higher than oneself  makes for a more peaceful spirit/soul. It is easier to really believe that the present is what matters. Nothing can be done about the past, the future is truly unknown.
When one is at peace, it takes a load off the shoulder, it is easier to look at the positive side of life.

Such is life, anything goes.  Why worry too much about tomorrow.
Today was yesterday's tomorrow and tomorrow's yesterday.

Time flies, so many are caught up in the world of materialism and waste. Do they give themselves any time just to sit and reflect on the blessings each day brings?
