Insurance and Your Pit Bull

I've been reporting on Breed Specific Legislation as it applies to homeowners. Many people have reported that they can't get homeowners insurance if they have a Pit Bull or other dog the insurance agency terms "aggressive." I found a way around the system. Homeowners in the states can get insurance in a lot of cases if their dog is trained. Here is the link:  http://www.care2.com/news/member/293228672/1510286

Pit Buls are the most maligned dogs, and they are such great dogs. I'm finding that some people can't get homeowners' insurance because they own Pit Bulls. It's ridiculous. Here is a link to a story about it:
