First: what does the Statue of Liberty say? Do our actions support the words underneath this symbol of democracy, acceptance and freedom?

Second: Europe, however imperfectly, formed a union of nations, with one currency and one government. Euros are now used instead of liras, marks, and the like. There are no more borders. The European Union is much stronger now than before they came together.

Third: The equivalent of living up to our words on the statue of liberty would be to form an American Union, all the way from Alaska to the tip of South America; one currency, one government, one nation, under God.

Fourth: We are all Gods children. Leaving some of the children outside and saying "You cannot enter" is not love. We can work together to create a better future which includes everyone.

Our simple choice is exclusion and/or killing those we do not agree with or loving/working with them.

Do we really want to kick out 11 million illegals serving all of us and this country, or accept them and move on with a guest worker program or something like the European Union, American style?

What do you think?
