Rep. Gifford has been shot. 6 dead, 3 wounded. Judge John Rolls killed.

Sarah Palin listed Democrat Rep. Gifford in her crosshairs http://twitpic.com/3o7bno/full,..I wonder if she will take this down from her website?  Gifford is also the only Representative to survive the political hit list and still be in office after the elections, but that is probably just a coincidence, right? The judge who was shot was also the target of numerous death threats and actually had a detail assigned to him to protect his life.. I guess they failed. 
The main problem as I see it, is that there are multiple radio personalities and TV shows which advocate and support violence as a method to solve problems. They advocate killing as a way to take care of the opposition, but both sides are guilt of this to some extent. It is bad enough that this happened. What is worse is that there are many who are now supporting her shooter. It is sad that many support the 'taking out' of people who are not doing what 'they' want. 
Support and calls for death to the opposition with racist, discriminatory and/or for political reasons has no place in a democracy..Since this is now happening, I guess we better start calling this nation something else. The judge who was also shot and killed had his life threatened over two hundred times on a radio show previously.. Who are these callers? 
Well, now those who are calling for death to the opposition have a lot of blood on their hands. An innocent child is dead...

Gifford shooter a white male. Media already calling him a lone gunman. because, you know, bad white people are the exceptions.

It sounds like this gunman was a gun enthusiast, a flag burner, and liked Nazi Germany.. One of his favorite books was Mein Kampf, but he also disliked authority of any kind.. Does this point to him being an anarchist? I am not sure what political category he belongs in... What do you think?

The fact is that Gifford could actually be called a Conservative, except that the person she ran against was a Tea Party supporter and was endorsed by Palin, so Giffor was a liberal by comparison to him. 
It will be interesting to see if this shooter and his accomplices (if any) make any statements. I wonder if there was anyone else involved? Time will tell.
