In the Woods of Quebec 

This is a simple, quick, healthy way to begin the day. I started making these last summer but have found that I enjoy them year round.

Throughout the summer I spent many days on local pick-your-own farms picking strawberries, blueberries and raspberries. Once home I washed them and popped them in the freezer so I could enjoy year round.

 Berries are a good source of Vitamin C and full of antioxidants and hemp seeds are full of protein and essential fatty acids.

In a blender mix

1 cup of orange juice

1 banana

Add

1 cup frozen berries

½ cup rolled oats

1 tbsp of hemp seeds

1 tbsp of ground almonds

1 tsp of cinnamon

Pour into glass and enjoy
