It’s incredible how inspirational one person can be – especially at the ripe age of 12-years-old.
Meet Talia Joy Castellano. She has been battling cancer for five years and just recently found out that pre-leukemia has now invaded her body. There are few treatment options left for Talia and if she decides to forgo treatment doctors say she will only have four months to a year to live.
It is an incredibly sad story, but Talia has maintained an upbeat spirit while sharing her journey to the world online with her YouTube videos. She has over 100,000 subscribers on her YouTube channel who tune in to see how she’s doing and check out her amazing make-up tutorials.
Check out her “Day2Night Green Smokey Eye” video.
Talia says she uses make-up as a “wig” to give her confidence and keep her going. In her videos you see a young girl just being a girl. Making the videos allows Talia to escape from the treatments and pain and just be a kid while also connecting her with a huge network of support. It’s really incredible.
Despite her bleak future, Talia says will continue to make videos and now you can help one of her dreams come true. Talia wants to meet Ellen Degeneres and “doll” her up. You can nominate her at www.ellen.warnerbros.com/show, or message Ellen on Facebook at www.facebook.com/ellentv or tweet her @theellenshow to show your support for Talia.
What are you waiting for? Help Talia’s dream come true today!

Thank you !

INTERESTING
a very inspiring story
She seems very upbeat and self-possessed. I hope a new option for treatment comes up, and grants her more time here.
This young girl needs to focus on her illness and forget the makeup. Cancer does not make people bald...chemo makes people bald. It also destroys the immune system. There are treatments for cancer that actually cure it...called alternative methods.
Interesting.
