Act Now! Help Send Search And Rescue Dogs To Japan

As reports continue to flood in about the after-effects of the double natural disaster in Japan, we know that you are looking for ways to help people and animals in distress.

Charles Annenberg Weingarten of is poised to announce an unprecedented fund raising effort today at the international multimedia festival SXSW in Austin, Texas.

This hasn’t been publicly announced yet, so you can be one of the first to take action and spread the word to your friends!

Here are the facts:

For each person who ‘likes’ the Facebook Page of Dog Bless You, a philanthropic multimedia project to champion the selfless acts of animals, a dollar will be donated to help finance the use of search and rescue dogs that are so critical in disaster situations like what’s happening in Japan right now.

This dollar-per-like donation will continue for 10 days, however, if 100,000
people “like” the community page by Sunday March 13, 2amEST, Explore has vowed to double the amount to $200,000.

See Charlie and Lucky announce this awesome opoprtunitiy below, and then go like the page as soon as possible to lend your support!

A great way to help.

And I hope everyone will consider donating to the international animal welfare organizations sending help to Japan to assist in rescuing and caring for the horrifically high number of domestic animals injured and left homeless, hungry, and terrified by the disaster (and the wildlife which will be suffering as well).
