There’s a video of a Beluga whale who lives in the Mystic Marinelife Aquarium in Connecticut making the rounds on YouTube. Apparently a wedding guest filmed the video of the Mariachi band performing for Juno, the Beluga whale after the guests moved to another area.
Personally, I don’t enjoy seeing captive animals of any kind. But I think what is so beautiful about this video is the communication between Juno and the band. Juno seems to have a good sense of rhythm. Look at that whale dance, bop and move to the music!
What is that expression? Oh yes, music is the universal language. It seems whales can communicate with humans, too.

Bless...a moment of intrigue & hopefully pleasure for Juno..would be even more pleasurable to see him released....
Juno certainly looks interested in them! I was grinning as she was nodding. >_
I trust that one day a child will dream of building a zoo that is interactive with a whales' habitat as opposed to removing them from the sea and isolating them in a tank. I know they can do it!
Do I see an intelligent animal, ALL ALONE, in that little tank? Is it's life spent with no interaction, year upon year, circling round and round, ALONE, just looking out a window? Is this for our entertainment, watching this animal suffer? What is the Aquarium doing to help release this whale? What stimulation activities does it get each day? LEARN, practice humane treatment of all.
pretty neat
Despite being in captivity Juno seemed very happy with the extra attention from the band.
