Come Celebrate Earth Day with Care2!

To help commemorate this 40th anniversary of celebrating our dear, sweet Mother Earth, we’re putting together a little Care2 Earth Day Extravaganza for you all. Our posts through the week will be covering everything from human overpopulation and ways to get control of the problem, to how the meat industry pollutes the planet more than all the cars, planes, trains and ships in the world…combined. Yep, you heard me right … all of them COMBINED

Oh and definitely don’t forget to enter for a chance to win a free copy of our very own Judy Molland’s Get Out! 150 Easy Ways for Kids and Grown-Ups to Get Into Nature and Build a Greener Future.

Check back often because we have tons of posts popping up throughout the week to help celebrate this important day!

And you know our amazing friends over at Care2′s Healthy & Green Living are just downright giddy about Earth Day. They’re doing a whole lotta celebrating over there, so be sure to check out all the earthy goodness they’re offerin’ up, too!

"God has cared for these trees,
saved them from drought, disease,
avalanches, and a thousand tempests
and floods. But he cannot save
them from fools."

Hopefully my celebration was enough to help the Earth.
I know that planting 1 tree will help so I plan to plant as many trees as I can.

Today I celebrated Earth Day by screening the 11th hour at a local church hall to bring awareness to my community of how our actions are placing the planet in peril.

My celebration was very sober. Enjoying the spring with its magnificent blooming of trees and flowers, the birds singing, the insects doing their fertilizing work, my cat chasing mice in the field. Poor mice ! The sunshine giving me so much warmth and hope...

40th anniversary of Earth Day, April 22, 2010 is the Beautiful feeling, In the light of a candle in the night. I turn off all electrical devices can handle. Recycling! Whenever you can.

Together with friends I'll be on a mountain not far from our home. And of course we will talk about Earth Day and venerate our good Earth. And I'll report to them on this brilliant action of Care2.
And special thanks for this important text "Family Planning and Earth Day" and the petition there. Not many people have this courage, that is necessary for the survival of our planet.
