Coulter: Fluke A “Hysterical Drama Queen”

Since talk show host Rush Limbaugh received so much attention after calling law student and birth control mandate activist Sandra Fluke a slut, conservative columnist Ann Coulter has decided to try and one up him.

Not only is Fluke a slut, but she’s a “hysterical drama queen,” too.  Just like the rest of the liberals in the country.

“Fluke is the latest in a long line of my absolute favorite liberal typology: hysterical drama queens,” Coulter writes. “From Murphy Brown to the Jersey Girls, Cindy Sheehan, Joe Wilson and the New School’s Jean Rohe, these fantasists inject themselves into a boiling-hot public debate and then claim victim status when anyone criticizes them.”

Coulter’s bizarre diatribe of a column steps past her usual litany of flame-throwing and name calling to unironically insist that if she didn’t want to be called names, she shouldn’t have stepped into the limelight in the first place.  “As a result of the huge commotion the Democrats’ made of Fluke’s ‘testimony,’ she was ridiculed the same way people in ridiculous situations often are. She was called some mean names: ‘slut,’ ‘prostitute,’ ‘law student.’”

In fact, Coulter then goes on to state that Fluke got exactly what she wanted, and that she obviously liked it. “Fluke seems to be holding up wonderfully under the nightmare of constant TV appearances. In fact, if I didn’t know better, I’d think she’s enjoying herself tremendously.”

Hmmm….attack, blame the victim, then say she wanted it?  Where have we seen that before?

Coulter is a joke. She wouldn't be in a position to call women names if it weren't for those women, she obviously despise, that went before her and fought for women's rights! Ironicly, isn't it? Me, I puke on people like Coulter, but I do have an upset stomach right now!

No, Lucy H., all do not use the same"tactic."

There is a distinction being the physical and the metaphorical.

Limbaugh and Coulter use "slut" in the former sense; those who stand against such use the latter.

While I heartily disagree with Ann Coulter on this subject, I find it disturbing that so many resort to the same tactics in refuting her - slut shaming, whether it is done by the left or the right, is still wrong.

Must have been an awfully long table to reach from Westwood to Coatesville; that's practically the length of PA.

You're absolutely spot on about "birth certificates." Contrary to the silly notions held by some, it is not that case that all are born under the watchful eyes of duly appointed government official who records the moment that one first draws breath, and then draws up and certifies an "official vault copy" of his observation.

One is born when and where the time has come.

Who knows, lots of morons out there! I was born on 05/09/1938 however I was born on a kitchen table in my house in Westwood, Pa. LOL So, believe it or not there's no real record of exactly where I was born so all you birthers eat you heart out! The birth certificate says I was born in Coatesville, Pa.. Hmmmmmm Those morons on Fox News and Donald Trump would have a field day if I were running for President! LOL She said when she was born and some moron said he did not believe it!

"It seems some people question her birth date!"

I was unaware of that. To what end do they so question?

Arnold Toynbee once said, 'We all came in different boats but we're all in the same boat now.' Some of us just never grew up!
