Daily Cute: Fox Dives Head First into Snow

While searching for food in winter, foxes have an unusual method. It’s amazing that they can pick up on sound and movement from below several feet of snow, and their furry tails sticking out when they dive in isn’t a sight to be missed.

This is how arctic foxes hunt in winter. I just read they can sense and accurately target prey such as marmots 3 feet (1 meter) under the surface. Pretty amazing!
