Daily Cute: French Bulldog with Cleft Palate will Steal Your Heart

Lentil the French Bulldog was born with a cleft palate. He was rescued by the French Bulldog Rescue Network and sent to an experienced foster mom. Here is his story:

In case you were worried that Lentil’s differences rendered him incapable of having a normal life, here is a video of him going crazy with a dog toy:

But the story doesn’t end here. Lentil is now permanently adopted by his foster mom. He recently underwent surgery to fix his cleft palate, and he is doing better than ever! Check out his blog and Facebook page for continuing information.

Nice one Glen R.
Not only that but it smacks of all the inbreeding needed to make a bulldog. As cute a dog as they are, the more "pure bred" they are, the more purely inbred they are.
All dogs breeds across the world have been traced back to three wolves! How inbred are we to think all this is okay?

Lentil is beautiful -- I love him! it's impossible NOT to fall in love with him, with or without a cleft! (From a visual perspective, I don't see what the big deal is regarding clefts). Thank you a million times to the rescue group and to foster mom -- you're all the best!
