Daily Cute: Mother Spaniel Takes Charge of Adopted Baby Bunnies

When Sarah found a nest of orphaned baby rabbits in her yard, her dog Ellie was curious about the little hopping newcomers. It didn’t take long for the pup to volunteer herself as a surrogate mother for the babies, allowing the babies to finally feel comfortable enough to start eating properly. It just goes to show that humans aren’t the only species that adopt!

So sweet! It's amazing that a dog with the genetic predisposition to hunt would be so gentle and kind with them. They're lucky they where found and saved. Well done Elle and Elle's mum :)
