Daily Cute: Orphaned Baby Bobcat Saved from Wildfire

During a terrible forest fire in Plumas National Forest, people came upon a small, injured creature. It was a baby bobcat, who they named Chips. They rescued her, treated her and loved her, and were able to eventually release her back into the wild. This is her wonderful story.

Awwwww.... Chips was adorable as a baby and turned into a beauty as a 10 month old.

I am so grateful for rehab facilities and workers. They really do give the animals a second chance.

This couple does such great work with these animals, and they are heroes. I wish I had the time, space and money to get into wildlife rehabilitation! Letting go of the animals once they've reached the proper age must be very difficult, but that is what mother nature intended for them. Thank you to all who do wildlife rehabilitation!
