Daily Cute: The Rabbits of Ōkunoshima Island

There’s a small island in Japan inhabited by hundreds of rabbits. If you visit Ōkunoshima, don’t be surprised to find a bunny by your side soon after arriving. While this island was once a chemical testing site, these creatures have reclaimed the place as their own, and the land is now safe for both vacationers and bunnies in many areas. They live peacefully, eating local foods and greeting the occasional visitor who has a treat for them.
