A woman in Tanzania once sold chickens to raise money to build a primary school and now teaches over 400 children a year. A woman in Nepal is working to get children out of the slums and provide them education, food and a safe place to live. Another woman works to educate girls in Kabul, starting when Afghanistan was still ruled by the Taliban and continuing the work today. A New Jersey woman who fell in love with the children of Nepal used her life savings to start a school and a children’s home. These are all remarkable woman who are working as changemakers around the world and will be supported by this year’s To Mama With Love program by Epic Change.
Epic Change launched To Mama With Love as a collaborative art project that “honors moms across the globe and raises funds to invest in remarkable woman who are transforming our world”. Users can sign in via Facebook or Twitter and create heartspaces for the special mamas in their life. Pictures, artwork, poems and video can be embedded in each heartspace and can be shared via email and social networks. Family members and friends can collaborate by donating to your mama and anyone can leave a comment on the wall of your heartspace.
Over 330 heartspaces were created in 2010, raising nearly $17,000. This year, they want to raise even more for the four different projects and give people around the world a way to show their mamas that they love them. Instead of spending money on extra stuff, you can make a positive change in the world. Epic Change is committed to making sure that these projects succeed and over 95% of the funds donated through To Mama With Love will be invested in the four featured projects.
There are several ways that you can get involved with this year’s To Mama With Love campaign:

kevin , you just contradicted yourself, you can't like dogs and say you will do whatever it takes for…
Maybe there should be a deposit. If you make it back, then you can have it back, as long as you also…

for your post , good reading, I will pass it along.
I AGREE THAT EVERYDAY IS MOTHERS DAY, OR FATHERS DAY FOR THE ADULTS WHO ACTUALLY LOVE AND RAISE THEIR CHILDREN JUSTLY AND FAIRLY.
EVERYDAY IS MOTHER'S DAY TO ME; I SINCERELY DO LOVE MY MOTHER NO MATTER HOW HARD I TRY TO HATE HER WHEN SHE PAINS ME SO MUCH AT TIMES. IT IS I WHO ULTIMATELY PAINS SO I TRY LESS AND LESS AND LESS AND LESS...
Thanks, good to see things like this.
