Loading...Gay Dads in JC Penney’s June Catalog
JC Penney, continuing its trend of gay-inclusive advertising, has included in its June catalog a same-sex parent family.
The image, apparently timed to coincide with Father’s Day, appears above. The caption reads “What makes Dad so cool? He’s the swim coach, tent maker, best friend, bike fixer and hug giver–all rolled into one. Or two.”
Hate group-affiliated One Million Moms, attempting to fabricate some vindication of their pointless homophobia, recently cited JC Penney’s bad quarterly report as evidence that their continued protests over the chain’s gay advocacy was having an impact. They claimed that JC Penney’s use of a lesbian family in a previous catalog, and the chain’s taking on Ellen DeGeneres as their spokesperson, which the Moms attempted to stop only to receive a national backlash, has caused Christians en masse to stay away from the store.
Sadly, the Mom’s failed to provide any evidence for these assertions and decided that just supposing this is what happened was better than actual facts.
Apparently, JC Penney really isn’t all that concerned about the Moms’ protests though and is going to continue its inclusion of gay families.
Can we expect a One Million Moms protest? Perhaps, but they’re currently very busy being frantically opposed to gay superheros getting married so maybe maligning JC Penney is just not a top priority now.

Just looking at the picture without a caption, just shows two men having fun with some children. You would know that they were gay.
These women, need to find a more worthy cause.
