Homecoming King Has a Message For LGBT Teens

In response to Jonah Mowry’s emotional — and controversial — video, gay teenager Johnny Robinson has a message for Jonah and all those who have been bullied for being different: Life can get better. And Johnny should know given that, despite being bullied, he’s found love and he’s since been elected his school’s Homecoming King.

Watch the video below:

Johnny, a high school student in Limerick, Pennsylvania, gave a brief interview posted at Yahoo News in which he explains why he decided to respond to Jonah’s video on YouTube:

“I love helping people overcome struggles,” he says, adding, ” people should love who they are.”

How To Explain Gay Rights To An Idiot:

You're obviously a MAJOR CLOSET CASE Past Member...if you were comfortable in your own skin you wouldn't be making obnoxious statements like you have. The people in life who do the most finger pointing and *itching are the ones who also have their filthy hand in the ole cookie jar. The hand is not filthy because of what you did, but because you are a hypocrite! Look at Senators like Larry Craig and countless other Republican Senators who have been caught doing the "wild thang" with other guys. What about preachers Ted Haggert? George Rekers? Eddie Long? The more you say the things you do, the more you bring the fact your a gay man trying to live a lie to please your family and friends when your only fooling yourself.

A true MAN doesn't have to resort to berating someone else just to feel more better about his own miserable life.

It takes courage to speak up and courage to respond to another in need. Keep these traits of humanity alive and well....
