A varied group of people from Georgia Tech have recorded a special It Gets Better documentary style video to tell young LGBTQs to stay strong, to have conviction in their own identities and to seek help if they need it.
The video, produced and directed by Julie Champion and Jesse Stommel, aims to give a broad picture of LGBTQs at Georgia Tech and features personal interviews with students, faculty, staff, administration, and alumni — all of varying sexualities and backgrounds. There are some heartwarming stories, some truly emotive issues and a lot of affirmative messages to be seen here. True the video is long at just under 20 minutes, but it’s worth every second:
