Guess Which Millionaires Don’t Want To Raise Your Taxes? [VIDEO]

There’s probably a good reason that so many lawmakers are adamantly opposed to the idea of raising taxes on millionaires.  It’s because they’d be voting in a tax hike for themselves.

The Patriotic Millionaires have released a new video reminding us of who is asking the poor to shoulder the burden while the rich get off scott free and how many of them are just looking out for their own bank accounts.

Let's see, its horrible that someone who makes more objects to being singled out to pay both higher rates and used for a political rallying point?

But its NOT strange that many others think it's a good idea to tax anyone else BUT them higher rates? Have to love the principles of people who think there is no price to high to pay for OTHERS to support our increasingly crippling form of government.

I look at the comments of people, assumingly well intentioned people who really think tax and regulation policies have NO affect on anyone's financial behavior. Tax anything more and you get less of it, that axiom was well understood since the days of Babylon (and far too often ignored). While ignorance of economics is just another area many Americans seem to rejoice in lately, at times like this-this could be fatal. Those rich so many here seem to look on as nothing better than cash cows, will move elsewhere or adjust their behavior.

Buffet Rule my butt. Warren Buffet is a well healed hypocrite backing his political patron. His accountants and foundations ensure others will pay more...hell he won't even pay his back taxes as it is!

Americans elected them and are now stuck with them, nexttime what americans need is a new political party who represent the masses, not themselves, and now is the time to start.

The Kiplinger Letter, Vol.88, No.33 for August 19, 2011, a business newsletter, stated that:

* * *
“U.S. multinationals are plowing more profits back into foreign markets, taking advantage of stronger economic growth overseas and saving on U.S. taxes. GE, for example, reinvested $94 billion abroad in 2010 double its 2006 figure. Chip maker Intel poured nearly $12 billion into foreign investments last year... up from just under 5 billion in 2006. All told about 25 % of S&P 500 firms’ profits won’t be repatriated this year. Health care and tech firms tend to reinvest much more.
Total foreign direct investment will hit the prerecession level later this year.
And for China...another record. It’ll nab $106 billion in foreign investment.”

This is why we are providing tax breaks to the wealthy and to corporations so that it can fund the export of more U.S. jobs. That is the Republican plan and the efforts of the “job creators” they speak of. This means that tax breaks to the wealthy and to corporations will result in more job losses then are actually created. The Republicans are “job killer” legislators in disguise.

Where do you get the idea that there aren't any millionaires in the Democratic Party? I have heard that all my life but then there are Kennedys, Heinzes, and certainly Pelosi, just to name a few.

People are easily confused.

That was a nice clip - brief and accurate.
Come on, like we do not know who is writing laws in this country.

Republicans AREN'T hypocritical this time! They Don't want to raise taxes for millionaires BECAUSE THEY ARE MILLIONAIRES! That way they can honestly say"Millionairs DON'T WANT TO PAY HIGHER TAXES" But what millionairs WANT isn't the question. The point is Fairness. The Country NEEDS the MONEY.THE REST of us don't even have JOBS much less MORE for TAXES but the VERY wealthy have seen a 350% RAISE in worth in recent years. The MINNESOTA STATE RETIREMANT FUND has made a 26% increase THIS LAST YEAR in the stock market, When the boss pays a lower tax than his kid's teacher SOMETHING HAS TO CHANGE.The BUSH tax cut for the wealthy has cost us a fortune and was scheduled to expire last year. The Republicans refused THEN,THIS TIME ,"NO!" WON"T DO!

This video is a bit misleading because it shows a picture of Ron Paul, who wants to abolish income tax completely, for everyone. If it is true that the poor pay more in income tax, then this move will benefit the poor more than anyone else.

The regressive Republican Party of No is obstructionist, mean-spirited, thuggish, religiously fanatical, scientifically ignorant, corrupt, hypocritical, xenophobic, racist, sexist, homophobic, evolution and global warming denying, oily, anti-environment, anti-consumer, anti-choice, anti-education, union busting, Medicare and Social Security slashing, fiscally irresponsible, authoritarian, selfish, greedy, out-of-touch, lacking compassion, warmongering, and otherwise dangerous.

NEVER vote for Republicans.

The Rich getting involved in politics is just a case of self interest, and being Republican is alays a way to get on the gravy train. So it is small wonder why they don't want a tax rise, Turkeys certainly don't vote for Christmas. Still anyone see the analogies to the fall of the Roman Republic happening in America just now?
