Meet the Cutest Animal Moms and Their Babies (Slideshow)

Every day is Motherís Day in the animal kingdom. Animal moms start teaching their young everything they need to know to survive in the wild as soon as theyíre born. And thereís a lot to know, as climate change, industrial development and other factors put more and more of our planetís cutest creatures at risk.

For example, every spring, gray whales swim thousands of miles to return to San Ignacio Lagoon in Baja, Mexico, the worldís last undisturbed gray whale nursery. There, they can give birth and nurse their calves in tranquility. However, the sanctuary is perennially threatened by schemes for industrialization and development that would destroy the whalesí home.

Farther north, our planetís polar bears face a similar battle, as corporations like Shell continue pushing forward with plans to drill for oil off the coast of the Arctic Refuge, the polar bearís favorite onshore birthing ground. To boot, rising temperatures are causing the bearís fragile arctic home to literally melt away under its feet. Scientists estimate that nearly all of the polar bearís summer sea ice could vanish by 2040. Without it, the polar bear cannot survive.

Thatís why itís more important than ever that we fight for the protections that our planetís threatened wildlife so urgently needs. Take action at

Picture #3 Is of the American bison and baby which the government has allowed the renegade BLM to harrass, rung to death, trap and remove from national parks!!! Many thousands have been removed because ranchers want the open grasslands for their cattle. Along with the mustang, wolves and many other species that the BLM want to see destroyed !!!

All animals are beautiful. I find it interesting that all the pictures shown were of animals that are all endangered. We need to save these animals or all we will have left is pictures of them.
