President Obama on The Daily Show with Jon Stewart — Tonight!

President Obama on The Daily Show with Jon Stewart — Tonight!

Get excited, folks!

Yes, that’s right, THE President Barack Obama will be appearing on THE Daily Show with THE Jon Stewart … tonight! (October 27)

And although the list of big name stars and politicians who have pulled their chair up to Stewart’s desk over the years is beyond impressive, most would argue this guest — who just so happens to be the most powerful individual in the free world — tops the proverbial celebrity cake. Sorry, Harrison Ford, but President Obama even outshines Han Solo and Indiana Jones.

As if this event wasn’t mind-blowing enough, we’ve come up with a way for Care2 members to take part in the action. The Daily Show originally airs at 11:00 pm Eastern, 10:00 pm Central. During this time, we’d love for you to come back to this post and engage in some friendly banter throughout the show, via the comment section below.

A number of our bloggers are going to be participating and the hope is to get a real virtual conversation going. Conservatives, liberals and independents alike, everyone’s invited! Come one, come all and let’s discuss the show, the upcoming election, and anything else politically driven your little hearts’ desire.

Ah, with October baseball, falling leaves, and pumpkin pie and politics in the air, it should be no wonder why this is my favorite time of year!

Be sure to come back at 11:00 pm EST/10 pm CST to be part of the action!

What good I mean what good! The Obama health care is so terrible its beyond words. The elderly will loose their medicare, why should we be forced to take health care or get fined or jail time. Thats terrible! Thats a police state. You want a fricken chip in your hand? Its in there, google it,and the world news reported the plan is to have us all chipped by 2017. You wont be able to buy sell or trade without it,geee, wasnt that in the bible? Mark of the beast? The government will know where you are at all times, what a wondeful health care plan, third world country.police state. It will make you think good is evil, gee, need to chip the kids,in case they get kidnapped. Its already started, they were pushing it at the county fairs here. The Obama health care plan will make you take it or go to jail,be an outcast. Thats pretty damn scary!

P.S. How do you think Bush spent his eight years? At home, in the oval office, working? He took so many vacation days that when he was briefed on a bunch of terrorists who were planning on flying planes into the WTC, he brushed it off because it was interfering with his vacation. And I went to Washington D.C. one day when the congress and senate were in session, and all the traffic had to stop and wait because Bush was back in town. It appeared to be an unusual event for him to be in Washington, D.C. If you want to call the kettle black, you have to call the pot black too. If you had no problem with all the money Bush spent, then you should have no problem with the money President Obama is spending. At least President Obama is doing something useful and necessary. If you don't want him to go, then don't complain about all the computer jobs being in India.

Cheri, just out of curiosity, what radio station were you listening to and what radio show?

11:54PM PDT on Nov 6, 2010

Hey it better be a hell of alot of jobs to make up for 20 hundred million dollers spent in 10 days! I heard the list on the radio of activites for the guests that Obama is taking over there and IT HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH BUSINESS!

11:48PM PDT on Nov 6, 2010

And you have to take a load of people and put them in a five star hotel and 15 Navy ships and do all these expensive things and spend 200 million dollers a day on the taxpayers expense for business?Just how many people would this feed?

2:39PM PDT on Nov 6, 2010

You DO understand that the trip to India is NOT a vacation. It is a business trip as he is trying to bring jobs back home.
