Pudsey The Dog Wins Britain’s Got Talent (Video)

The winner of this year’s “Britain’s Got Talent” is in shock.

Ashleigh Butler, 17, and her dog Pudsey beat the bookies’ favorites, singers Charlotte and Jonathan, last Saturday, to win the talent show when they performed a dance routine to the Mission Impossible theme.

And now the irrepressible border collie, bichon frise, Chinese crested cross, along with his young owner, has become a national sensation after delighting both audiences and the judges on the ITV show.

The teenager from Northampton will get the chance to perform with her pet at the Royal Variety Performance in front of the Queen.

Speaking to The Daily Mail, Ashleigh explained how she planned to spend the 500,000 prize money.

“First of all I will get Pudsey a new lead because we actually lost his backstage,” she said. “I’ll get him a bed too or whatever he wants.”

Nice! Now check out the amazing performance of Ashleigh and Pudsey:

Bravo to both of them ,and so glad that they won, and the judges comments, were sending a positive message pertaining to ending animals abuse, and the mention of a rescue group by Simon. And the dog is not a purebred, he's a good old mutt, who is really loved. Again Bravo for the win and the anti abuse message.

Video was blocked but I think I've seen this before. I don't like to see dogs trained like this. This isn't natural for a dog, but I appreciate that this girl really loves her dog and the dog loves the girl.

It looks like Simon Cowell is jealous that the dog has more hair on his chest than he [Simon] does. :)

Nice change of pace from the type of horror stories that have been featured lately. Need a smile every once in a while and this did it.
