As presidential candidates and surrogates dig in for the attack, both parties are making it clear that former Massachusetts Governor Mitt Romney’s past as an investment banker at Bain Capital is a major vulnerability for him.
President Barack Obama already released one 2 minute long television ad in battle ground states, painting Romney as a job destroyer who killed a steel mill and the livelihood its workers during just one of his many deals at Bain. Now, the Democratic super PAC “Priorities USA” is doubling down in its own 30 second spot, also featuring the Kansas City mill’s closure.
But Romney isn’t letting their ads go unchallenged. He’s released his own ad, focusing on a different mill, in this case one that grew and created jobs.
