Past Member, I'll say that I "echo" that sentiment about most Care.2's articles, and the "factualness" (is that a word?) of their content. It mirrors The National Enquirer, well, actually The Enquirer is often more factual.
I started reading articles a long time ago when I tried to sign a petition that had come into my e-mail's IN BOX, and then started getting newsletters. Many came across as just not "mainstream" news, so I thought I was getting "info" that just hadn't made TV. There ARE a few articles that are worthwhile, and I've met some very nice people in here that I've become online friends with. I'm just sad that the writers' can't be a bit more professional, and seem to resort to "sensationalism" to attract readers.
Look at the video carefully. There are 2 whales!
Makes sense, these guys often hunt in groups.
Hard to tell but it does look like the wakes do affect the double kayak. The camera pans away to follow the whales diving, but the eddies do seem to reach the kayak. The surfer very sensibly moves behind it too.
I agree with you Miriam N. The tabloid affectations of Care2 articles insults my intelligence and I am losing interest in this newsletter rapidly. Where is the integrity?
