Top 5 Ryan Dodges

2. The Boogeyman Move

BIDEN: Look, folks, use your common sense. Who do you trust on this — a man who introduced a bill that would raise it 40 — $6,400 a year; knowing it and passing it, and Romney saying he’d sign it, or me and the president?

RYAN: That statistic was completely misleading. But more importantly…

BIDEN: That’s — there are the facts right…

(CROSSTALK)

RYAN: This is what politicians do when they don’t have a record to run on: try to scare people from voting for you.

—————————————

This was a favorite tactic of Ryan’s. Whenever the heat got a bit too much for the lad from Janesville, he would accuse Biden and President Barack Obama of trying to scare people.

This is, of course, fertile territory for Ryan. The Obama-Biden campaign has been highlighting a number of Romney-Ryan plans, simply because they are incredibly scary. Voucherizing Medicare? War in Iran? Raising taxes on the middle class so the wealthy get a tax cut? That’s legitimately terrifying!

Ryan therefore is at a huge advantage. Any time Biden talked about what Ryan wanted to do, Ryan could turn around and proclaim that Biden was just trying to scare people. Of course, Ryan neglected to mention that Biden was scaring people by saying things that were true.

Michael,

Lovely Christian response. It's good to share the Love.

Zeke,

How can you take the top man out of any business or government post? Everyone is blaming Bain Cap. on Romney when he wasn't even there. It is being blamed on Obama's Administration ....but the lies about it not being a terrorist attack is on Obama. You cannot tell me that they took ONE telephone call and did not factcheck with other information or see the live video. Really, do you belleve that? Obama lied for eight days. Hillary is taking the blame - but - there is a memo out there where she asked for more security. Someone above her turned it down.

So Kevin "oozles" in his positions???? This thread might turn out to be steamier than Ryan and his lies.

I don't know Micheal, I was thinking when she said "Your disgusting oozeling on this site is remarkable" that it might have been a compliment. You know like "Shaft, you are one bad mother...." But then again I am not so good with "secret languages."

Zeke, exactly, Paul Ryan voted on two separate bills, one of them to cut embassy security by 130 million and one to cut it by 300 million.

Every problem we've been faced with since 1981 side from Clinton's adoption of 2 Republican trade programs, NAFTA and CAFTA and his failure to veto the repeal of Glass-Steagall and the passage of Gramm-Leach-Bliley, has been totally on the shoulders of the Republican traitors in Washington.

Michael, oh okay, I did not realize that "mama jmarie" had her own secret language, lol.

10:01AM PDT on Oct 17, 2012

"Oozeling"? JMaire what exactly is "oozeling"? Is that some made up fantasy world? I mean you live in a fantasy world so maybe you have your own fantasy language?

@ JMarie F.

You're not pinning the tragic deaths of the ambassador and his staff members on Pres. Obama. There was no incompetence. It was a tragedy. You will not gain politically from this. We won't let you. And yes, we know the Al Qaeda surrogates had this premeditated, but they did use the confusion of the regional protests as an advantage. You Repubs know this! But you just want to pin something, anything on the President. Like Kevin B. said that dog won't hunt. Let it go!

Also I find it laughable that you ask "Who will ask the needed questions if Republicans don't?". You mean questions like:
-Where are the weapons of mass destruction in Iraq?
-Which country really attacked us on 9/11?
-Why did George W. Bush decide it wasn't important to take out Bin Laden?

or
-How can cutting $5 Trillion dollars from the debt be done by cutting taxes on everyone and adding like a third to the defense budget?

Republicans and the term "tough questions" should never be used in the same sentence.

Kevin B.

Your disgusting oozeling on this site is remarkable. I have two young sons in the current buildup of Americans in the Philippines that are my only concern. I don't give a hooters' backside about the political ax you try to grind in every post. Who will ask the needed questions if Republicans don't.? Do you think Democrats can see a single sin in their fearless leader? There were huge mistakes made involving our ambassador and three others. Incompetence doesn't describe it.
