As failure to stop the BP oil spill continues, are we looking for cleaner sources of energy?

Oil from Canadian tar sands is certainly not the answer. In fact, it’s far worse. The video below shows us why.

Tar sands extraction is on its way to becoming the largest industrial production project in human history. But it takes four barrels of fresh water to produce one barrel of oil. And it’s heated by natural gas, producing three times the carbon emission of well oil. Not even having to take into account the other chemicals used, it will significantly add to climate change.

This frightening video should help you decide, personally, to move toward reduced oil consumption and encourage you to do all you can to support the growth of solar and wind energy.

Help us urge the Obama Administration to take the side of clean energy, not Big Oil.

This is a world vastly sicker than it was even 50 years ago; enviromentaly.
