GOP to Women: I Object

As a string of women took the podium in Congress Saturday morning asking for a "unanimous consent request to revise and extend their remarks" regarding healthcare reform, their male counterparts across the aisle continuously interrupted them by loudly repeating, "I object," into their microphones. As the women tried to address gender discrimination by health insurance providers, the men attempted to silence their voices.
In between objections, Representative Mary Jo Kilroy of Ohio, (above) asked presiding chair Rep. John Dingell of Michigan, "Do I not have the right to be able to continue my sentence without objections that are trying to censor my remarks here on the floor that I have a right to make as a member of this House?"
Watch a clip of the session here.
State how YOU feel about gender discrimination by health insurance providers. Our voices cannot be silenced! Take action by signing the petition letter to Congress.

Being a woman is considered a pre-existing condition. Blue Cross needs to stop dropping women once they become pregnant, United needs to cover women medicines instead of denying them because they are woman based and are necessary for women's health, all insurance companies need to cover rape victims, and they do not.

A name for them I can't use here but they would screw their own mother.

Behavior of the GOP in this tape is disgusting. I think they would do it to men as well. However, in fairness, I believe there are tapes of congressional sessions in 2000-2006 where the Democrats had similar behavior. No party in Congress has a lock on anti-womens rights nor does either have a lock on good behavior.

The GOP has become bullies with behaviors that are more akin to tyrrants than employees of the American people. They stopped representing their constituents long before Bush took office.
They surrendered their patriotism by order of the right wing Christians and their party.
Remove all of them and dismantle the party. There are plenty of Responsible parties and individuals to take their place.
