Each year, religious feasts are celebrated with bull torture and slaughtering (Vega Bull, Tordesillas, and Coria Bull, by exalted people who boast to be the more barbaric and cruel, and an innocent being suffers an awful pain and anxiousness before dying; the same kind of facts produce, in an apparently more elegant way, countless times a year, in the bullring; to fire a bull corns amuse people; they pursue and torture greyhounds, etc.

Es un mar de sangre, de dolor, de desamparo, de agon%uFFFDa inocente de una parte, y de exacerbaci%uFFFDn de violencia y de insensibilidad del otro.

Juan de la Cruz, m%uFFFDstico y doctor de la Iglesia, afirmo que la creaci%uFFFDn entera tiene el ser espiritual en Cristo, y al igual que Francisco de Asis y que los m%uFFFDsticos de cualquier espiritualidad tenia una relaci%uFFFDn intima y amorosa con la naturaleza y los animales.
La percepci%uFFFDn hol%uFFFDstica actual es que todos los seres somos unidos y la suerte de los unos ligada a la de los otros.

- CANCELAR LA POSIBILIDAD QUE SE CREARA NUEVOS, lo que dif%uFFFDcilmente podr%uFFFDa hacerse sin UNA LEY NACIONAL DE PROTECCION ANIMAL (Ley que se neg%uFFFD a dar el Se%uFFFDor Zapatero);
- A las autoridades eclesi%uFFFDsticas de cualquier Iglesia, pero en particular a la cat%uFFFDlica que bendice los autores de esta crueldad, les pedimos un pronunciamiento claro a favor de la vida, del respecto, de la compasi%uFFFDn.

Acts such the torture and slaughter of a bull, just as any mistreatment and cruelty acts towards an animal or any live being, and even more if he cannot defend itself, when they are not carried out because of survival needs , are acts against the essence of humanity, for which Leonardo Boff, was awarded the Price Prince of Asturias, for his creation: CARING in which he demon-strated these acts to be of the outmost cruelty against these innocent creatures, and therefore because of the perpetrators lack of awareness and empathy towards the victims these persons are morally disable, staying in a time warp of cruelty of ancient, barbaric times where primitive instincts prevailed, with a total lack of sensitivity and compassion towards other beings, and devoid of empathy and awareness of an innocent animal's suffering. Because these acts reduce not just the humans who commit them, but humanity as a whole, to these barbaric, back-wards levels of acting and lack of consciousness...

Also totally shameful is the fact that some of these feasts have a religious context and are car-ried out with the blessings of the local church. John of The Cross, mystic and Catholic Church doctor, told how the whole creation has the spiritual being in Christ, and equally Francisco de Asis an spiritual from any spirituality had a loving and intimate relation with nature and ani-mals.

The actual holistic perception is that all beings are united and that the destiny of one is linked with that of the others.

Our planet is endangered. Crises are many and deep, provoking more disasters, pain and des-pair.

It%u2019s time to CURE, to BUILD, to CARE, and not to provoke more pain and destruction, if indeed we are to have a future.

We demand that you, in the name of awareness, humanity and history (which will undoubtedly be judged in future times in the same way as the roman circus is nowadays):

-         FORBID ANY ANIMAL MISTREATMENT AND CRUELTY, especially, those of VEGA%u2019BULL, CORIA BULL, BULLFIRE, BULLFIGHTING, GREYHOUNDS TORTURE.

-        CLOSE THE DOOR TO THE CREATION OF NEW SIMILAR ONES, which need A national LAW OF ANIMAL PROTECTION (a law which Mr Zapatero denied its approval);

-        To the ecclesiastic authorities from any religion, but especially to the catholic ones which give their blessings to the creations of these cruelties, to be given clear statements and guidelines which favour life, respect, and compassion.

Tradition argument: Tradition is to bring a custom to other time, adapting it to the new time and the new ethics. None tradition deserves by itself be brought.
Art: Art goes with creation and creation with love. Many great thinkers would tell you that there cannot have destructive art.
