As a charter school community founded, governed and held accountable by parents, and knowing that
The board wishes to hear viewpoints of the school community and considers the responsible and respectful presentation of these viewpoints vital to the efficient operation of the school, the undersigned petitioners respectfully request that
a) at the next regularly scheduled Board of Directors meeting, the Board take up a full discussion and reconsideration of the dismissal of Noelle Roni, to include the possible reinstatement of Ms. Roni. This discussion and reconsideration will culminate in a vote for reinstatement or dismissal only after full discussion; or
b) within 30 calendar days, a separate open Board of Directors meeting will commence solely for a full discussion and reconsideration of the dismissal of Ms. Roni, to include the possible reinstatement of Ms. Roni. This discussion and reconsideration will culminate in a vote for reinstatement or dismissal only after full discussion.
The undersigned petitioners have great respect for the service of the Board and are mindful of the stability and standing of our school, and so request the above in order to gain required transparency for a fuller understanding of the dismissal of Ms. Roni.
We request a response to our petition by November 15, 2013.
