Please sign and share this petition worldwide so that we can get various Asian Countries such as Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, Myanmar, Laos, Cambodia and Vietnam to comply with the WWF in an effort to propose a plan that would save the tiger from endangerment. Most countries have complied by sending in their data while attempting to preserve the existence of this beautiful wild creature although some areas have yet to conform to the request and submit the survey of data. There has to be a reason for their not fulfilling these WWF data requirements.

The World Wildlife Federation or WWF has great concerns regarding the extinction and endangerment of the tiger worldwide. Most countries have been doing their part in their efforts to save this gorgeous creature but some Asian areas are not complying as hopes. Countries like Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, Myanmar, Laos, Cambodia and Vietnam have yet to send in their data as requested by the WWF so they can implement plans that would preserve the existence of this majestic big cat.

Areas like St. Petersburg, Russia has set the goal of doubling the number of wild tigers by 2022, against a baseline population believed at the time to be as few as 3,200, which is just an estimate in their efforts. A spokesman for WWF stated "In 2010 many countries had not undertaken systematic national tiger surveys. Now many have or are doing so, but not all, leaving major, worrying gaps in our knowledge. Until we know how many tigers we have and where they are, we can't know how best to protect them."

Many countries are making necessary efforts to save the wild tiger populations but some are still unknown due to their lack of submitting the surveys of data. WWF spokesman continues to state that "Systematic national surveys take six-12 months to plan and a minimum of a year to complete, so these surveys must start now if an updated global tiger figure is to be released" in 2016, the halfway point to 2022. Dwindling tiger loss is due to trophy hunting, poaching and habitat loss.
