Hoatzin is a unique bird species that lives in South America's flooded tropical rain forests. Although they have strong beaks and feet, hoatzins are weak fliers, limited to distances under 30 m. Hoatzins are herbivores and possess a large crop that allows them to store large quantities of vegetable material for future digestion.
