# 1Furry
What can I say about Furry that he hasn't already said himself?
Furry, so named because he's bald (duh), was carried to our doorstep some 12 years ago or so by a tiny neighborhood girl old enough to read the neon "Suckers Live Here" sign above our door. His little
bones were protruding from his chest (though we reasoned that it could have been an implant put there for effect).
Furry's a peace-loving, self-reliant and quiet cat.... except about 97% of the time when he's engaging in Meaningful Dialog. Granted, it's for just cause, for instance, when he's hungry. "Meow! Feed me! Now-Meow!" Or if there's someone at the door... "Meow! Doorbell!" Or if he's breathing. "Whoa! I'm breathing! Meow, meow, MEOWWW!"
You get the picture.
Furry, another stray guaranteed a good home for life.
# 4Simon Says, "Tastes Gooood!"
Simon is one of our newest "Kids" in our household. He was hit by a bus & rescued by the Humane Society of Clarksville-Montgomery Co. TN. They are great people whom we have traveled from Jackson, TN. to get 2 wonderful creatures.
# 7Saffy
Saffy was one of a litter of 4 kittens that somebody had left in the street in a cardboard box. This picture was taken when she was nine weeks old, on one of those rare occasions she actually sleeps....
# 8Mr Tigger
Mr Tigger was rescued by my mum from the guard dogs at a school bus storage yard. he survived 1 1/2 hours on the bus before being left with Great Grandma till we found him a permanent home!! He stayed with Great Grandma for many years before being in an accident on the road. He loved me and always liked to finish my bottle for me when I was a baby.
# 10Henry
Henry was thrown out of a van on our street last summer. His thoughtless ex-owners left a bowl of food for him at the curb...as if that would matter!!! He choose our house to be his home...and we are glad he did! He has brought more love and humor to our family than we could have ever imagined!
With love and care he has grown big and strong!
He is amazingly loving and laid back!
How can people just "throw away" such beautiful loving animals???
