Love Your Farmer's Market Contest

I love talking with my farmers - I like to know where my food comes from and you cannot beet (wink) the fresh veggies and fruits!!

It's just blocks from my house, in MY neighborhood. I love that I can stroll down and take a leisurely walk through, bringing home fresh stuff for dinner on Sundays.

It has a great local goods (cherries, apples, the works). It also has a unique antique & crafts section that makes it a WAY worth while destination! It is part of a smaller neighborhood - you recognize the vendors weekly, it's good stuff.

We get fresh produce, fresh flower bouquets, a flea market, furniture, and fun craft booths.

Fremont is increasing the number of farmers who bring wonderful fruits and vegetables. The flowers are the BEST!

Farmers markets not only provide fresh fruits, vegetable and flowers, but they also provide a sense of community - a connection to the folks who grow our food.
