Love Your Farmer's Market Contest

At it's beautiful new pavilion in downtown Harrisonburg HFM brings a wonderful array of local vendors together with the Harrisonburg/Rockingham County community for the social and local food events of the week

I like keeeping my money local as much as possible, and I enjoy getting fresh produce,It always tastes better. Our farmers market works hard to make the experience of shopping there fun and attractive!

It is one of the best markets I have ever been to! Such great variety and a wonderful atmosphere of community.

Everything is fresh,there is a wide variety of items to choose from. The vendors are friendly and helpful. I have recently started to shop at Harrisonburg Farmer's Market,since I am no longer able to grow my own vegetables.It is wonderful to buy fruits and vegetables and to know they are fresh.I have even bought fresh flowers there. This week I am going to try the homebaked breads.

Wonderful organic produce. Nice setting.

Access to seedlings to transplant into my garden that are in better condition than those from the big box stores and locally grown organic produce.

While the market boasts a large variety of fresh, organic produce, meats and other great products, it is the community of people there who truly make it great!

Love the local and organic produce... supporting local farmers and crafters is the way to go!

Excellent, healthy produce, chickens, eggs, cheese, butter and more! A chance to support our local economy and not add to environmental pollution through trucking. Wonderful folks gathered in a musical, lively and loving environment. And of course the food is delicious! Gus the Bus was a terrific addition today. Parents and kids loved it.

I love the interaction with the local farmers/producers. Getting to talk with them & also getting ideas on trying some new vegetable & how to fix it is great! You just don't get that from a grocery store, and I want to make sure that by supporting the local farmers we keep this area somewhat rural and we don't grow to look like a metropolitan area!

Fine quality local produce, consistency of vendors, variety of wonderful seasonal offerings.

Wonderful fruits and vegetable grown locally and has some of the best fresh baked breads around!!!

I can contribute to the future of our planet by buying healthful , organic and natural foods grown and harvested by folk who care.
