This market provides the community with healthy foods including meats that are pastured on grass and are fed no antibiotics, pesticides, hormones. There is a host of wonderful items to be had: herbs, fresh grown veggies, fresh baked breads and rolls, milk, butter, and cheeses of all types included local goat cheese. There is honey from a local apiary, salmon caught wild in Alaska, and much more. The Hopkins family works hard to make this a very special occasion twice a month. Also, customers can visit their farm and find items in the freezer, refrigerator, and on the shelves...all paid for on an honor system.
I look forward to these "Market Days" all summer and fall.
