I love being able to support my community and the people that work and live in it. When we can buy fresh produce, it helps our Earth, which is what we need for the healthy future of our children. It may seem like a small thing to do, but buying locally helps in such a big way.

I support our local Farmer's market because I know the fruits and vegetables are fresh - to say nothing of delicious! I like getting to know our growers. I also like supporting local farmers.

Because I live in Wichita Falls. And love fresh vegetables and fruits along with knowing how much work those who raise them put into it. It is hard work and long hours to tend to large gardens, then haul it to town and hope all of it sells. Many years ago I was in the commercial fruit and vegetable business and bought from the Dallas Market. My son continues to operate this business.

The bulk of the produce available at our market is grown within a 50-mile radius of Wichita Falls and is as fresh as you can get without growing it yourself.
