Visiting this market on my lunch break each Weds is a highlight of the whole week. They've got a great selection of mostly organic, all-local produce and other products, and support local businesses and non-profits as well by offering booth space. I get to pick up my week's worth of produce, visit with friends, picnic on the lawn and listen to the live music....delightful.

Visiting the market is always the highlight of my work-week. I pick up my CSA share and some groceries for the week, get lunch and some beautiful flowers for my desk, visit with friends and schmooze with the farmers - it's wonderful.

It has been in existence for years and is very dedicated to providing the best quality locally grown food for its customers. And it is conveniently located.

It's great to have a market in the middle of Raleigh's urban core. It's right across from the bus station, so a ton of people have access to it, plus it's walkable from nearly anywhere in downtown. The market features lots of small, local AND sustainable/organic farms. I feel so lucky to be able to walk on my lunch break to load up on a week's worth of fresh, local and sustainably grown produce.
