More farmers, better variety, better quality than any other farmers market I know.
I love coming for the farmers and their fresh produce, baked goods, dairy, etc. Much better than alot of grocery items and I like supporting local food.

As a recent New Orleans transplant I love Findlay Market because I can find good andouille sausage and other creole ingredients there. It is a fantastic resource across the baord, but that is my favorite thing about it.

There's just nothing like it! The history alone makes it such a unique place to go. And don't forget all the food. Whether you're looking for fresh produce or meats or are just wanting to walk around and find a good place to eat lunch. Whenever my Mom comes to town she loves for me to take her there where her and her sister talk about growing up in the area and what it used to look like back in the 1940's and 50's. I try to make it an annual destination each and every summer and take my teenage boys so they can experience Findlay Market too.

I started going to Findlay Market 40 years ago and it is better today than it has ever been -- great selection of food, the best people watching place in the Midwest, a supreme farmers market, sausages to die for, waffles to send you straight to weight watchers, and jewelry made for you on the spot. All that and great prices too.
Findlay Market is not only a great way to get your shopping done, but the experience is great fun! Everyone is happy and friendly. The service is quick and you couldn't ask for better prices on quality food. My favorite spot is Herbs and Spice. They have the best spices for such great prices!! Love 'n Findlay!!!
I support Findly market because I live downtown and it is convient for me and because I can purchase fresh produce and meats. I prefer to support local and "mom and Pop" kind of businesses and not large corporate and chains. I feel that the prices are very resonable.
Findlay Market is a great community market that has all of the fresh products that you'd normally find at a farmer's market, but also typically has live music, small delis, and shops surrounding the area that makes it so much fun to not only shop for groceries, but also browse around for some retail theapy!

Great stuff, great people. Weekends at Findlay Market are like a city wide block party. I never go there that and not see 10 people I know. Our family likes to go there, stock up and then sit down and make a lunch of our bounty.

I love the fresh flowers and produce. It's great to buy directly from the butcher, baker, and farmer all in one eclectic marketplace. I'll never forget when one of the butchers showed my then 5 year old son, his dancing pigs feet! You won't get that at Kroger's or Biggs.
It's a wonderful oasis in the heart of Over the Rhine. Great food, great people, just get a good feeling when you're there. It's a mix of every kind of people, all having a great time.

Findlay Market is nothing short of amazing. It supports all aspects of the community and I have NEVER been less than impressed with service, quality, variety, and overall welcoming atmosphere. I drive over 30 minutes every Saturday and my excitement hasn't relaxed in the last year or so I have been going there. I don't know how anyone shops at 'grocery stores'. Findlay Markey literally has everything you need and much more. Vendors are overly knowledgeable about their products and I routinely have guests comment on my fresh and flavorful dishes. The architecture, too, in and around the area is a must see for anyone who appreciates history. 2)You can find just about anything you need there. 3)The atmosphere is unique. It's hard to put into words; it's just something that you have to experience. 4)It's a "melting pot". People from all socio-economic levels become as one in this place. 5)It's affordable. It's FREE to just visit, but even if you purchase, the prices are fair and the quality is superb.

We love the fresh produceand the fresh eggs, especially Thistlehair Farm's, Love running into friends and neighbours, socializing over a cup of coffee and a wonderful waffle from the Belgian guy(the waffles are just as good as the ones in Belgium,by the way!)It is also great to see the farmers from year to year.

Findley Market has been around forever - when I was achild ( I am middle age and gray now!!) we as a family would make monthly trips downtown to Findley to shop. It has always been an amazing place and has been "upgraded" over the years, but still is an amazing place. I live far away now, however I still remember the smells, noises, activity and excitement and the people. The sense of community and variety of products ( and people) prevails still.

The entire food industry is going to have to change sooner rather than later and we are going to have to change the way that we approach eating. Agribusiness is unhealthy and keeps the body out of balance with non seasonal eating habits and the list goes on. Findlay Market in my view should be the hub of this real food renaissance in Cincinnati.

I drive almost 20 miles to get to Findlay Market. I love the produce and the fresh meat. I can call ahead to my favorite meat stand and they will pack my order and have it ready when I get there. That gives me time to browse and pick up the fresh produce that I want and to take in the atmosphere. I love the organically grown flowers and produce. They also have fresh baked goods that amazing. You can't beat Findlay Market for produce, meat and atmosphere! You gotta visit Findlay Market. You won't be disappointed

I walk in with no plan, and walk out with dinner! The fresh meat is amazing, and they even tell me how to cook it. Then I walk down to buy spices, and they help me pick out exactly the right seasonings. A quick stop down for some veggies on the way out and suddenly I have a fresh, gourmet meal!

They are open all year and have been a staple in the unban city where customers can walk to get food. Many people depend on this market especially those who do not have transportation.

Long live Findlay Market! One of the reasons why we relocated to downtown Cincinnati from the burbs is because of this gem! The Market environment is just a taste of the true beauty of this town. It's really how Cincinnati should be viewed by outsiders and the media. There are so many wonderful things about this city and Findlay Market is at the top of that list. Wonderful food, wonderful locally grown produce, great beer garden, wine, plants....it's truly the heartbeat of this city! (at least until we get a streetcar!!)

I love the fresh produce in the summer. The meat stores have the best fresh not pre packaged meat. The cheese and spice shopes are also the best around, very fresh. I try to make it there as often as possible, every Saturday in the summer.

I'v been going there since 1940. My grandpa would pick out a live chicken as we started on our rounds of the produce stands, etc. and when we finished it was done for, defeathered and ready for grandma to cook. The location is great, right in the heart of Cincinnati. The buildings and store fronts have recently been renovated so it all looks beautiful. I love Findlay Market! There are things you can get there that aren't found anywhere else in the city or region and they are all in one place! My favorites are Kroeger and Sons for amazing sausage, Krause for all things German, Madisons for produce, Mediterranean Market for nuts, olives, etc. and Silverglades for a sandwich to eat while you shop. Oh...and don't forget Taste of Belgium's amazing waffles. Oh, and Saigon Market!

It's a beautiful market with a long, long history in the City. The oldest. They also have the Findlay Market Opening Day Parade every year for the Cincinnati Reds, the oldest team in baseball. It's a lovely place to spend the weekends!!!!

Not only can you find fabulous produce but it is one of the most diverse experiences available in our city! It enhances all of your senses. Drop your baggage at the door because it isn't invited.

They have the freshest vegetables from local markets. The butchers are AWESOME! (Especially Eckerlin Meats.) I can find great vegies, fruits, spices and ingredients for all types of ethnic cooking. It is a magical place
Wonderful, historic cornerstone of our city. A marvelous center for enterprise, for community, for creativity. Excellent merchants and vendors and a supportive customer base. One does not experience true Cincinnati without a trip to Findlay Market...it is a microcosm of the larger community. Essential to our city.

I LOVE IT! Great food, great fresh veggies NS GREAT PEOPLE.
I hardly ever get out of the basement where they keep me captive, my only nourishment human blood. You can imagine how dull that is. When my chains are unlocked, I head straight to Findlay Market for some fresh vegetables. But no tomato juice.
Delicious local foods, fun entertainment, info tables, and flowers for the week I don't feel like cooking. What's not to like?
We go there to do most of our grocery shopping for the week. The vendors are great. The produce is really fresh. We will often stop to have something to eat or drink and watch the street performers. It is our "family time."
Vibrant, eclectic, historic and amazing! Crammed full of colorful people and some of the finest food in town the market house and the fantastic local produce in the farmer's shed. It's a gem in the heart of the city.

This is an incredibly important (not to mention historic) market located in an impoverished area of town, where healthy foods and vegetables are not readily available. They have a HUGE selection and great prices.

Findlay Market is the crown jewel in Downtown Cincinnati...specifically Over the Rhine. It's got the history, the selection and the amazing mix of customers.
The best thing about Findlay Market is the sense of community. I love walking around and feeling connected. If you're a foodie, or building a healthy lifestyle, Findlay has the fresh, preservative-free and hard-to-find foods you're looking for. Findlay Market is also the only place I go for annual flower and herb plants for my garden. I also see Bob at the tropical plant shop for my indoor plants - exotic! You really can get exactly what you want at Findlay Market - and at a fair price. I love the GREAT customer service! I appreciate that Mama Made It will make salt-free kettle corn just for me! Findlay Market is a treasure! I'm always smiling at Findlay Market!

Findlay Market is the oldest public market in Ohio! It is arguably the oldest TRUE public market in the US as most cities have lost their's or converted them into other uses. This ALONE should be enough for everyone to support this American treasure in Cincinnati!

I love the hustle and bustle on Saturdays. I love buying the produce and taking it home and making it that night -- soooo fresh! Findlay has the best selections and varieties. Cannot wait for tomato and corn season! Right now the beets are heavenly. Not to mention the garlic, lettuce, herbs, everything is fantastic.

I grew up in Cincinnati/Clifton and I remember going to Findlay Market with my grandmother on Saturday's. Findley Market is very "family oriented" and community based market. I like the fact the produce is "local" and fresh! Everyone is very friendly and and the fresh baked bread is AWESOME! I like the local "artist's" and the local musicians. It's just a fun place to be and relax on a Saturday morning with friends and family.
