bread bread and did i say bread??? cranberry walnut to be exact but only if i'm there early enough to get it. seriously, the fruits and vegies are ripe enough to eat right there. i don't like buying fruit in regular stores cause it's never ready to eat and it gets rotten before it gets ripe. i like sampling different fruits also, can't do that in a grocery store! i love chewey corn on the cob with lots of good stuff drizzled over it too, can't walk around a grocery store eating that! love love love talking to people, no one talks in a grocery store until you are in the check out line then it's always gloomy talk about the prices of food there. oh, no temptation to buy stuff i really don't need. i like getting my books at special times, not as an afterthought before i leave the store. farmers markets just plain smell good also, no rotten fish smell, no rotte food smells. i just love shopping like that, need to go back to shopping every day, i'd cook more. count me in as a lover of long beach uptown farmers market!!!!
