Love Your Farmer's Market Contest

It's new, it's local and off to a great start. $5,000 would certainly help them along their way. Although there is a larger market in the city, it is becoming very crowded and parking is becoming an issue. Flint city market is very good, but it is time for the surrounding towns to develop their own and Swartz Creek Farmers' Market is well on their own to becoming a first class farmers' market.

The tomatoes I eat should be grown in Michigan and not the Netherlands. Supporting our local farmers is important. Furthermore, it gets me out and about on Sunday!

It is right here in town and the produce and flowers are wonderful.

It is all local people with quality goods.

They are friendly, good prices, close and good products.

Produce is always fresh- sellers are always friendly!!!
